Agape Japan
Welcome to Agape Japan School of Frontier Missions (AJ SOFM). Our mission is to cultivate a deep understanding of God!s love and light in Japan. Our "learning by doing" curriculum equips students with the skills and values necessary for spreading God's Kingdom, focusing on making disciples of Jesus and establishing multiplying, Jesus-centered communities.
Language and Culture
We emphasize understanding and appreciating the rich culture of the Japanese people. Students will learn essential cross-cultural principles and acquire the Japanese language to engage effectively with the community.
Principles of Pioneering
Missions is about establishing the Kingdom of God where it is not yet present. Our program explores the signicance and challenges of pioneering new churches and ministries, preparing students for this vital work.
Healthy Team Dynamics and Self-Care
Successful missions require a solid grasp of leadership, team dynamics, and self-care. Our curriculum fosters healthy relationships and effective teamwork among missionaries.
Biblical Theology and the History of Missions
Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of missions through a broad overview of Scripture as it relates to the Great Commission, an in-depth study of the Book of Acts, and an exploration of the history of missions.
Church Multiplication into Movements
Our ultimate goal is to see people saved, discipled, and churches established and multiplied. At Agape Japan, we equip students to reect the risen Son, Jesus, in the "Land of the Rising Sun."
